Siforma homepage hero: a sliding glass door system in a dim living room, with the Siforma wordmark

Overview

Siforma distributes European technical hardware and sliding systems in Brazil, selling through sales representatives spread across the country, and putting a quote together used to live outside any system. I designed and built, with Claude Code, the whole platform: the public website and catalog in three languages, the product configurator, the sales reps' panel and the admin that runs products, orders, customers, stock, commissions and customer support. It has been in production and in daily use since June 2026.

In use

Between June and early September 2026, 14 of the 18 active sales reps used the system and 450 orders went through it, 404 of them built in the configurator. Monthly orders went from 2 in June to 175 in July and 240 in August, and for seven weeks in a row 9 to 12 reps used it every week: a plateau, not a launch spike. There was no instrumentation before the system, so there is no "before" number to compare against.

Flow

The configurator is the front door: 404 of the 450 orders were born in it. Instead of describing what they need for someone to assemble later, reps and clients build the configuration themselves, step by step, from product to measurements, panels and opening, with front and top views that react to every choice. An order arrives ready, not waiting to be interpreted.

Decisions

Reps see whether an item is tight on stock, never how much is left, because a rep who sees a number promises it; and the number had to disappear from the order email too, or hiding it on screen would have been theater. Permissions live in the database, not in the interface: reps compete for accounts, and a hidden button would have leaked orders the first day someone opened the browser tools. And when a rep said a customer was missing from the list, the list was complete: most customers are registered under a legal name that doesn't even contain the name reps know them by, so the plain list became a search by name, trade name, phone, city and tax ID.

Craft

European forest green, dark graphite for text and backgrounds, and off-white, set in Mulish. The references were technical European authority; the anti-references were written down before designing: generic hardware distributors on white backgrounds with Arial, cluttered layouts and stock photos of construction sites.
